2016 La Atalaya del Camino (Garnacha tintorera and Monastrell)
TASTING NOTES OF 2016 La Atalaya del Camino:
- View: covered cherry red.
- Nose: overripe berries, blackberry, herbs and light floral notes.
- Mouth: fleshy, still vigorous youth and intense tannins. A nice, fresh and original wine.
APPELLATION: Almansa.
GRAPES: 85% Grenache dyer, 15% Monastrell.
PAIRING: vegetables, meat stews, rice, mushrooms, sausage, snouts and trotters, various roasts, white and red meat in sauce, broiled or grilled.
TEMPERATURE: 14-16 °C

Bodegas Atalaya has 25 ha. vineyards, which are in limestone soils (mainly) and an average elevation of 800 meters. To use native varieties wines of the area: Garnacha and Monastrell shark. They develop and produce 100,000 bottles annually.
