The Langhe like the old West: mysterious, sun-blessed moorland, and hills which are still wild and untamable despite the Cartesian logic of their division into rows of vines.

Ceretto Barolo 2015

4 /5

The Ceretto Barolo comes from grapes from vineyards suited in the municipalities of La Morra, Barolo and Serralunga, in the province of Cuneo. It is entirely obtained from Nebbiolo grapes fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for 14-15 days with maceration in contact with the skins. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels and then for a further 12 months in barrels before being bottled. The Ceretto Barolo has a bright red color with garnet hues. The nose opens with aromas of rose petals, spices and black cherries. The taste gives a strong touch, balanced and round. Perfect combined with structured dishes like lamb loin with roasted potatoes.

Ceretto Barolo 2015

4 /5

It is a classic Barolo - light garnet in color with BaroloÕs quintessential aromas of roses, tart cherries, and hints of tru es. CerettoÕs Barolo DOCG is extraordinarily approachable now, but it will continue to reward the patient wine drinker as it evolves over the course of several years.

I personally love toffee notes. Taste of ripe fruit in the mouth.
I'm happy I was recommended this one.

I tried it with wine enthusiasts.
Brownish red edges. In this Ceretto you can smell coffee. I fellt it fleshy in mouth.
I drank it accompanied with a snack.
