Fontanafredda Barolo di Serralunga d'Alba 2014

I have shared a bottle with my boss in more than one occasion.
Red ruby colour with reddish brown tinges. Smell of ripe fruit compote. Well balanced.
The Fontanafredda Barolo di Serralunga d'Alba was far better than the food.

Fontanafredda Serralunga d'Alba Barolo 2014

Blood red with ruby highlights, it has a clear-cut, intense nose with overtones of vanilla, spices, withered roses and underbrush. The palate is dry, but soft, full bodied, velvety and well balanced, and is engagingly complex throughout the lengthy finish.

- The palate is dry, but soft, full bodied, velvety and well balanced, and is engagingly complex throughout the lengthy finish.
- Ideal with big red meat dishes and medium mature cheeses, try a wild boar and mushroom risotto for example.
- 100% Nebbiolo.

The wine is purchased at Uvinum, right?.
Burgundy colour. It mainly smells like chocolate. This Piedmont stands out for its warm and balanced character.

Fontanafredda Barolo Di Serralunga D'Alba 2011
I enjoyed a delicious combination of duck confit and this wine. I shared a bottle of Fontanafredda Barolo Di Serralunga D'Alba with my partner.
Red colour followed by reddish brown. I noticed a hint of blackberry. Good flavour and long aftertaste.
