Marchesi di Barolo Roero Arneis 2017

Arneis produced with grapes coming from vineyards on the steep hills of Roero characterized by predominantly limestone acidic soils. On these soils, soft and permeable, which provide an abundance of trace elements at the same time ensuring an immediate expression of the bouquet, the vine Arneis find the ideal conditions for the expression of fresh and fragrant aromas.

At the supermarket.
I was impressed by its colour. Clearly noticeable aromas of white fruits. Do not know what had to taste like, but it was tasty.

I tried it when my best friends fot married.
It showed strong colours. It smelled of orange, lime, lemon, ... Elegant lightness in its taste.
I accompanied the 2015 with steamed vegetables.

Of a light yellow colour. Smells like honey. This Piedmont has a very good acidity.
It was an excellent accompanist for the main course.
A wine to drink with the closest friends.
