Michele Chiarlo Tortoniano Barolo 2015

The Tortoniano Barolo Michele Chiarlo born in vineyards located in the municipality of La Morra, in the province of Cuneo. It is obtained from Nebbiolo grapes, picked and selected only by hand. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 27-30ºC. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 24 months in large oak casks for at least 12 months in glass, before being placed on the market. This Barolo is characterized by a bright red garnet color, with light orange highlights. The nose opens with intense aromas of red fruit, enhanced by notes of licorice, rose hips and pink pepper. At the elegant and velvety palate, with a pleasantly soft tannins. Perfect to accompany main courses of meat and game, it is ideal in combination with truffles and in general with the typical dishes of Piedmont cuisine.
