  • Nose: Elegant nose, with delicate floral scents and spices and hints of small red fruits and tar.
  • Mouth: Structured body with soft tannins, and a taste of ripe fruit and liquorice.

VINEYARD: Poderi Colla. With an average altitude between 300 and 350 m above sea level, this vineyard has a long outstanding tradition of respecting the whims and forces of nature and creating wines without using any special processing in order to maximize the expressions of each wine, revealing their true character.

GRAPES: 100% Nebbiolo.

AGEING: 24 to 28 months of ageing in oak barrels prior to bottling.

PREPARATION: The grapes are collected manually in October, and undergo destemming, pressing, and finally maceration with the skins for 12 to 15 days at a maximum temperature of 30°C. The complete malolactic fermentation process takes place then, ensuring that it is finished before the beginning of the winter season. In the spring, the wine is stored in oak barrels for the appropriate ageing process. The final result is a traditional Nebbiolo red with majestic character and great complexity.

PAIRING: Perfect for main red meat dishes and furred game.

Poderi Colla Barolo Bussia Dardi Le Rose 2015

Typical Nebbiolo burnt sunset colour. Meaty yet floral nose, with generous ripe berry fruit aromas. Lots of late summer fruit flavours on the palate, with good tannic structure and a level of acidity which means that, whilst drinking now, this wine will age and improve for many years.

A symphony of aromas for a majestic Barolo "classical", complex and harmonious, fruity and elegant, with a great potential for aging.

This Bussia Dardi Le Rose Barola is deep, intense ruby red color and has a rich and sophisticated bouquet, delicately spiced, flowery tones, blended with red berries and tar. The wine is full and highly structured with flexible tanninesensaties in the mouth, covered with fragrant notes of ripe fruit and liquorice. A traditional, "majestic" Nebbiolo with the strength, balance and complexity of a symphony! Complex but balanced, fruity but elegant, with extraordinary aging potential.
