Shortly after building their Trappist brewery in 1862, Chimay monks began to brew in very small quantities digestible and light beer in alcohol (she Title 4, 8%) whose taste was within the range style of its predecessors. It was at the time for members of the monastic community. Over time, this beer nicknamed 'The Golden' continued to live at the abbey. She was later offered to the community of hosts and to staff working for Chimay. From 12 April 2013, La Boutique du Comptoir is pleased to present you this complex and light beer in limited quantity and 33cl bottle whose label based on the history emphasizes its traditional character, hit the seal of 'uncompromising quality, as are all products and beers Trappist cheese from the abbey Our Lady of Scourmont. Despite its lower alcohol content, it remains a Trappist high fermentation beer with hops keys and aromas of spices abound to delight all who taste. His "Authentic Trappist Product" logo certifies that the Chimay Dorée occurred within a Trappist Abbey under the control of the monastic community and the majority of revenues are generated for social assistance.
