Dark color, opens with aromas of toast and special malt, presenting a broad and persistent flavor, rather sweet.
Chimay Blue goes well with beef (steak, stew), meat big game (wild boar, deer), foie gras and, of course, the cheese from Chimay.

Very dark garnet color. Its flavor is sweet and slightly caramelized at first to leave a bitter hops and malt. Its aroma is intense yeasty with a hint of roses. The foam is very dense, which makes its main feature. From an almost yellowish cloudy white, forms a perfect crown nearly two inches if we serve rather than dissipates in a few minutes in to the center circle for small bubbles escaping from the bottom of the cup.
