Le Fruit Defendu

4 /5

The Fruit Défendu is a high fermentation beer produced by the brewery De Kluis, which also produces excellent Hoegaarden. This is a beer that has the distinction of being flavored with coriander and curaçao and more aromatic hops already used. The Fruit Défendu present in the glass a stunning mahogany color tending towards burgundy that release malty and spicy aromas that evoke relatively mild and coriander and fruit. On the palate, we find very mild flavor and perfectly mask the 9th of this beer. With almost honeyed tone, Fruit Défendu develops on the palate malty and spicy flavors with hints of fruit and yeast. Coriander gives the whole a certain roundness while alcohol is noticeable only in the warming of the throat. Is visible on the label, the picture Adam and Eve Rubens. This beer was nearly banned in the US because of the content of its label considered too shocking. . .
