The story of Fundamental Blackhorn is first of a long maturation. Indeed, brewed by Hornbeer, this Imperial Stout 120 IBU and after a dry hopping has been raised for several weeks in the woods. Note also that honey enters its composition. An amazing beer, powerful, voted best Danish beer in 2011 and Best beer in the Beer & Whisky Festival in Stockholm in 2011. Obviously we find this Danish beer classical dress Imperial Stouts, namely intense black topped by a thin brown foam. The nose seems dominated by roasted notes, although we can also find honey and a touch of oak. In the mouth, a powerful attack and roasted leaves again instead to beautiful woody notes and hopped while the tasting ends with a final gate-how could it be otherwise? Majestic and complex, the Fundamental Blackhorn imposes its presence throughout the tasting. To compare with the Hornbeer Hophorn for fun!
