This Sour Ale, brewed with wild yeast, reveals once poured into the glass a nice amber color, golden and disorder, honey color; covered with a generous white foam. The bouquet is intense and complex. It soon attracted by yeast aromas of orange, lime, tropical fruit and grapefruit. More subtle but present, we discover caramelized malt notes, white pepper, coriander and floral hops. On the palate, no surprise include yeast, flavors of biscuit and caramel malt; but also in acidity with a hint of lemon and lime peel, spices. Note also slightly leafy, woody and floral notes brought by hops. The Mikkeller U Alright offers a nice balance between yeast and acidity of hops. Low in alcohol, light and refreshing, this beer is more reminiscent of a Belgian Pale Ale, just one Sour Ale.
