Bosteels is the Brasserie that produces this wonderful beer. The Bosteels is the family of the same name for over 200 years and as many as 7 generations. Often when it comes to brewing tradition is also this that you think. Evarist Bosteels founded the brewery in 1791, then came Joseph, who had three children: Frans, Martin and Lodewijk. Only the first two learned the craft brewer. Subsequently Bosteel Leon, son of Martin, took control to sell it in 1938 to his son Antoine who continued the dynasty of brewers. Currently, the brewery is under the direction of Ivo and his son Antoine. A brewery family then handed down the brewing tradition. In Italy we are still the first generation of brewers. . . we'll see in a few years what will happen.
