The Rodenbach Grand Cru has won more gold medals and other great evaluations than most dark ales. With a longer aging process in special oak than any other product made by Rodenbach resulted in a more pronounced 'Flanders Red-Brown Beer'-style. The cool fermented ale contains 1/3 of young beer and 2/3 of beer which had already matured for two years in oak. An incredible blend which the worldwide famous beer critic Michael Jackson called a 'World Classic' and the 'Burgundy of Belgium'. Originally aimed at connoisseurs, you should drink it slowly, concentrated but relaxed. The brewing master from Rodenbach recommends to enjoy the Rodenbach Grand Cru alone or in a small group of beer enthusiasts to relax.

I'm going to drink another bottle to see if I get used or not but I do not believe in redemption.

It uses a combination of malts and hops very special and we rely on fermentation "mixed" top-fermenting yeast and lactic acid bacteria to accomplish this so peculiar. Of fundamental importance, then, the maturation, respecting an ancient tradition, in large oak vats, extending for 18 months.
