Spencer Trappist Ale

Spencer Trappist is inspired by the Belgian Ales which are brewed by monks for years in the US These monks were the first monks from Trappist order that occurred in the United States are also being also the only ones in the US The monks themselves cultivate hops and grains needed for brewing the beer. Lets keep the monks maximum control over the entire process from seed to beer. The result is a beautiful blond Trappist beer that is characterized by full-bodied fruit accents and a dry finish with hints of hops.

Discover the only American Trappist beer in the world but also the only Trappist which is not native to Europe. An exceptional beer brewed by the monks of Saint Joseph Abbey in Massachusetts. Their recipe was inspired by their traditional Belgian Trappist. These beers are usually brewed by monks for their own use during the meal and therefore are generally available at the monastery. Spencer is a full-bodied beer with a golden color with fruity accents and a dry finish and the hop bitterness. The beer is neither filtered nor pasteurized, thereby preserving yeasts used, which contributes to the aroma and flavor of the beer splendid.
