2011 Familia Hehn Reserva Brut (Cerceal, Malvasia Fina and Gouveio)

TASTING NOTES:

View: straw yellow
Nose: medium intensity. nuts, particularly walnuts, derived from aging.
Mouth: full, round and fresh with good volume. Soft and very well integrated.

APPELLATION: Beiras.

VINES: Boa Parte

GRAPES: Gouveio, Cerceal, Malvasia Fina.

AGEING: Aged for 10 months on lees.

PREPARATION: Manual harvest. Pressing of whole grapes with separation of the first fraction of the wort. Fermentation base wine after racking the wort for 15-20 days at a temperature of 17-20 °C in stainless steel tanks with cooling jacket.

WINE PAIRING: appetizers, caviar, and fatty fish like salmon or tuna.

TEMPERATURE: 8 °C

ALCOHOL CONTENT: 12%

Yellow medium intensity straw. The dried fruit, particularly basket nutty, stemming from the long stage. Full, round and fresh with good volume. Soft and very well integrated.
