Descendientes J.Palacios Moncerbal 2014

Red wine from Bierzo (Spain) prepared by the descendants of Joseph Palacios winery with Mencia grapes. His ideal pairing would be with vegetables, grilled meat, game birds and ground and roasted. You can drink in perfect conditions from now until 2039. It should be served at a temperature of between 12 ° C and 16 ° C in a glass of Bordeaux type for better tasting.

I enjoyed it with a beef dish. I shared a few glasses of Descendientes Jose Palacios Moncerbal with that person I always am happy to drink wine with.
It has a dense colour. This red tastes smoky. All Descendientes de J. Palacios wines are quite balanced.

Descendientes Jose Palacios Corullon Moncerbal 2014

The Moncerbal is a top wine can compete with the very best GrandCru's from Burgundy and has led to several surprises in a blind tasting. Incredibly sophisticated and stunning palette of aromas and flavors. The Moncerbal has ripe flavors of plum and red cherry with an unprecedented good integration of oak. The palate is medium-bodied, with lots of depth and complexity. There are the Moncerbal made only 1800 bottles. The Moncerbal is a standard Parker 95+ Wine

I bought it on purpose on a trip to Bierzo.
Cherry red colour. It smells toasty. As I'm not really a fan of red wine, I noticed a plane taste on the palate.

Deep Aromas: Balsamic, violets, menthol. An excessive touch of sweetness.
It's wine, and that's about it .
