A wine made from Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes that captures the essence of Italian vineyards. The 2015 vintage was marked by a mild winter, followed by heavy rains in spring and a hot summer with above-average temperatures in June and July, resulting in very healthy grapes with excellent ripeness.
This red wine has a intensive ruby red colour, generous aromas of ripe black fruits with soft almonds and a rich, fresh and compact taste with notes of nuts and a deep and persistent finish.

TASTING NOTES OF 2015 Sassicaia:
- View: intense ruby red.
- Nose: Ripe red fruit, berries and cola, herbs and toasted almonds.
- Mouth: rich flavor and compact, sustained body and good acid component, notes of nuts, with a profound and persistent.
APPELLATION: Bolgheri.
VINES: GRAPES: 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet franc 15%.
AGEING: 24 months in French oak barrels.
PREPARATION: fermentation in steel tanks under controlled temperature, with maceration in the skins for about 10 days.
PAIRING: grilled meats, roasts, steaks or traditional Tuscan dishes.
TEMPERATURE: 16/18 °C

Strong, concentrated, with sweet and balanced tannins on the palate. Very long finish with very important organoleptic and poliphenolic aspects, which will ensure to this wine an extraordinary longevity.
