2010 Beringer Founders Estate Zinfandel Old Vines (Carignan, Zinfandel and Petite Syrah)
The active oldest wineries in Napa Valley, California. The brothers founded by Jacob and Frederick Beringer, immigrants from Mainz (Germany) in 1876. Its formation wine, received between France and Germany had become aware of the importance of keeping wine aging in constant temperature conditions, for which worked
horandando hard rock tunnels in the hill on which they built the winery. These tunnels, which maintain constant temperature 14.5oC, have continued to use since then to raise the great wines of the house. Beringer has grown in more than a century, but always taking care quality criteria that have characterized.
Currently, in addition to the Napa Valley, vineyards and wineries have also elsewhere in California in Alexander Valley, Sonoma Valley and Paso Robles. He has been a pioneer among California in developing noble varietal wines from France, and through it you have given to the world quality Californian wines.
