Borsao Tres Picos Garnacha Campo de Borja 2016

I had got it from a wine club.
Red colour followed by reddish brown. The smell of red fruits in the Borsao Tres Picos Garnacha Campo de Borja is quite obvious. It seemed a bit salty, it reminded me the sea.

Deep cherry red in colour with a hint of purple. A bouquet of mature red fruits with floral notes that are typical of the best Garnachas. The palate is rich and well-structured showing flavours of blackberries, strawberries and tones of leather, vanilla and a smoky burnt treacle tang. Perfectly combined with a sweet and pleasant tannin, with a generous and balanced finish.

There is a density of Borsao Tres Picos 2014 aroma that hides spicy nuances and a hint of oak, well integrated; their 'bouquet' reveals ripe fruit with elegant notes that give complexity to the wine. Sweetness and acidity balance each other in the mouth.
Garnacha 100% recommended. Do not miss it!
