Kripta Gran Añada 2006

TASTING NOTES OF 2006 Agustí Torelló Mata Kripta Gran Anyada:
- View: straw yellow, golden hues and fine and well integrated bubble.
- Nose: clean and frank, notes of ripe and fine aromas of roasted fruit.
- Mouth: silky, well integrated carbonic, pastry flavors and a nice, sweet finish.

GRAPES: Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada.

AGEING: 9 years of aging.
PREPARATION: only in excellent vintages.

PAIRING: caviar, smoked, fish sauce, meats, foie, cheeses.

I purchased various bottles of Kripta Gran Anyada 2006 in a supermarket.
I especially liked the colour. I loved the smell of baking. It had a correct astringency.
