TASTING NOTES OF 2004 Mestres Clos Damiana Gran Reserva Vintage:

  • View: straw yellow, golden reflections. fine and good evolution in the glass bubble.
  • Nose: very elegant and rich aroma, notes from the barrel aging: toast, slightly smoky, snuff, notes of mocha, toasted nuts.
  • Mouth: a step structured mouth, frank, carbonic gas well integrated and long aftertaste, notes of maturity and complexity.

Mestres Clos Damiana Gran Reserva 2004

A client gave it to me.
Golden yellow. Fine aromas of pear and banana. Powerful flavour.
I prefer it with emmental cheese.
