Bollinger Brut la Grande Année 2007

This Bollinger wine goes well with food. I drank with my best friend.
Fantastic colour. Its aromas reminded me of yeast. Considering the taste, it is quiet similar to a sparkling wine.

Bollinger La Grande Année 2007

2007 - Non contractual picture. The Great Year of Bollinger champagne is intense, rich, which fit right in at the table. This wine is a marriage of 70% Pinot Black (coming terroir of Aÿ and Verzenay) and 30% Chardonnay (mainly from the terroirs of Avize, Chouilly and Mesnil-sur-Oger), Great classified grape wines to 95% and Premiers crus for the remaining 5%. One of the peculiarities of the vintage La Grande Année is that fermentation is performed entirely in barrels, which gives it the power and aroma so characteristic. 2005 was generous and easy, providing grapes of a good maturity. It is this perfect balance between acidity and sweetness that drove Bollinger to develop a Great Year from this vintage 2005. The dosage of this champagne is moderate, in the order of 6 grams per liter. Bollinger La Grande Année 2005 has a dress with a beautiful deep gold, reflecting the maturity of this champagne.

Visually it is introduced in a splendid one dresses with a crystalline yellow paglierino with of the green glares that they confirm all own " younger". The perlage he is most fine, numerous and persistent. Al nose expresses all its elegance, fresch and complexity with notes of pear and peach, fragranced notes of bread crust and pleasant spice. At taste is cremous with a beautifulst fresch and sapidity with a end a lot along with most pleasant yielded and toasted notes. Great wine to leave to still mature in wine cellar if all are wanted to be enjoyed the feelings which he is able.
