Elaboration of 1993 Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial

1993 Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial (Rosé)

Salmon pink color; aromas of strawberry, cherry and candied apricots, with hints of coffee, nougat and frangipani. The complexity is initially on the fruit. The finish is firm, lively and balanced, punctuated by spices. This rich wine is wonderful with any shellfish and with lamb, chicken and game.

A Moët Et Chandon Rosé that we had as a dessert of a good meal. The first person who told me about this wine, was my brother.
Attractive and intense colour. Reminds me of other sparkling wines, aromas of yeast. It was harsh in the mouth for a Champagne.

Moët Et Chandon Rosé 1988

I went to Champagne to buy it.
It had a very shutdown colour. Very yeasty, and biscuity, on the nose. Mild but with a long aftertaste.

Moët Et Chandon Rosé 1986

Good colour. A Champagne with yeasty aromas. Distinctive oxidation notes on the palate.
I took the wine with grilled vegetables.
It was a gift for my brother and he enjoyed it very much.
