The Mumm Cordon Rouge Brut is a Champagne for unique occasions and big events. A world-famous, emblematic cuvée, the Cordon Rouge has transformed G.H. Mumm into the most famous Champagne house in the world.
But why the red ribbon? In 1876, Georges Hermann Mumm decided to pay tribute to the cuvée that had made him famous by decorating the bottle with a red silk ribbon normally worn by the great personalities who received the Legion of Honour, the highest award of the French Republic.
