Pol Roger Blanc de Blancs Bottles Pol Roger, 2012

The Blanc de Blancs 2012 is pale yellow-gold in colour with shimmering reflections, enhanced by a fine and elegant stream of lingering bubbles.

The nose exudes notes of dried fruits and hazelnut, which combine harmoniously with touches of citrus and exotic fruits. As the wine opens up in the glass, it reveals aromas of peach and apricot.

On the palate, the first impression is clear-cut and incisive. The wine beguiles with its balance between vibrant youth and rich maturity. Fresh notes of citrus are underpinned by a bright acidity.

Pol Roger Blanc de Blancs Champagne Ac Geschenkverpackung 2002
I got it as a gift from my boss.
Has a strong colour. Mellow yeast aromas. Very dense.
We drank it just like that, without any food pairing.

Pol Roger Blanc de Blancs Millesime 2002
Made exclusively from the best Chardonnays of the Côte des Blancs, this wine is the "lace" of Champagne. A bright green dress, a creamy effervescence, lively and almost inexhaustible, fine, harmonious and pleasant nose combines the aromas of white flowers and dried fruits, and air mouth, marked by delicate flavors of vanilla, brioche and toasted almonds. The year 2002 offered very good harvest conditions. On September 10, the rains disappeared and gave way to a beautiful sunny and dry weather that favored the concentration of sugars and the sanitary quality of grapes. Space: 85 ha. Grape: Chardonnay. Winemaking: Double settling the pressing center and winery in the cold (6 ° C). Low temperature fermentation (18 ° C) in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for each varietal. Malolactic fermentation before assembly. Traditional riddling hand. Ageing: 9 years. Shelf life: 10-20 years. Serving temperature: between 8 ° C and 10 ° C as an aperitif and between 9 ° C and 12 ° C with hot dishes. Matching Food & Wine: Perfect with a turbot or a natural baked bar. Gault Millau: 17/20. What delicacy. Notes of lime citrus and grapefruit. The palate is dense, driven by a delicate bubble. A really delicious blanc de blancs that puts value mineral sensations. Sharp and persistent finish.
