R de Ruinart Millésime 2010

The Chardonnay is the soul of the Maison Ruinart. Its grapes, resulting mainly from the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims is at the heart of all its wines. Blend: 40% Constitié Chardonnay, DE57% Pinot Black and 3% Meunier, and including 20 to 25% of reserve wines previous 2 years. Winemaking: Manual harvest, alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and malolactic fermentation, a Dosage: 9 g / l Tasting: A bright and limpid yellow with gold highlights. A beautiful shine, the excitement is sustained. A first end nose and fresh, fruity, full of white fruit notes (pear, apple rennet), apricot and hazelnuts and fresh almonds. Some floral and spicy notes bring a complex supplement. The second nose reveals a beautiful olfactory intensity on a brioche and biscuit bottom. Attack very frank mouth. A balanced wine, rather round and fleshy with ripe fruits (greengage and nectarine). The final grade is long, the dosage is well integrated which gives way to a typical freshness of Chardonnay, very present in the assembly. Agreements: Brut, Champagne is perfect for cocktails, which can also be used as input on light meals and fine as fish and shellfish. But also it can accompany cheeses with short maturing (Chaource ...).
