2004 Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Rosé

TASTING NOTES:

  • View: 2004 Comtes de Champagne Rose is yellow gold enhanced by a bright green reflection. The bubbles, especially fine and abundant, regularly up to form a small bead of foam.
  • Nose: very fresh nose opens on a contrast between intensity and subtlety of notes of toast. I happen candied citrus aromas, vanilla lemon cake, roasted almonds and finally a floral touch of dried flowers and linden.
  • Mouth: The entrance is expressive and powerful, dominated by the vivacity of citrus, ripe lemon. The average mouth is more delicate, marked by caramelized grapefruit flavors. The finish full of breadth and depth, allowing it to express sugary licorice notes.

PAIRING: This wine of celebration and ceremony should be a principle of food and Combines ideally with the starters with seafood and fish (albacore carpaccio with truffles).

WINEMAKING: Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Rosé 2004 Millésimé is made from 30% Chardonnay grapes from great cru Côte des Blancs and Pinot Noir, 15% of which are vinified as red wine. The raising of Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Rosé Millésimé 2004 is 5 years in cellar gives its complexity of aromas and roundness in its structure. The 2004 harvest was one of the most abundant of the story, besides being one of the highest quality with near-perfect weather conditions. Drink now or until 2024.

Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Rosé 2004

Pinot Noir is one of the most capricious grape varieties, a nightmare for inexperienced winemakers. Either you pressed it the most delicious red wines of the world, or a thin, sharp, thin dishwater. In the house Taittinger it is in the best hands.

Comtes de Champagne Rose 2004

Good wine, even when taken alone. In a tasting course we had the pleasure to try.
It had an intense colour. Mixed aromas of yeast and bakery. This sparkling has good body.

Comtes de Champagne Rose 2004

Gorgeous. I loved the smell of baking. It tastes a lot like toast, very nice.
A good wine to toast with.
I toasted with a client of mine.

Comtes de Champagne Rose 2004

He had a very deep color. Bread and bakery at the smell. The taste of chocolate was present.
It was not at the level of the dinner.
Next time I'll taste it again.

He has the same fruitiness as the nose, with aromas of strawberries and fresh figs. The Comtes de Champagne Rosé is a great champagne, mild, smooth and easy to drink, with a profusion of flavors.
