Taittinger Cuvée Prestige Magnum

The color of this Champagne is brilliant, golden straw color. The bubbles are fine, the foam is discreet and persistent. The nose, very expressive and open, is both fruity and brioche. It exudes aromas of peach, white flowers and vanilla. On the palate the wine, lively and fresh, is also harmonious. This is a delicate wine with flavors of fresh fruit and honey. Serve chilled to 8 ° C. Winemaking: aged 3-4 years in the cellar.

Taittinger Cuvee Prestige Brut Magnum

Intense colour at sight. Very yeasty, and biscuity, on the nose. It shows a taste of raspberry and strawberry.
The best pairing would have been with fish.
It was served at a wedding.

The brilliant body is golden yellow in colour. The bubbles are fine, while the foam is discreet yet lingering. The nose, very open and expressive, delivers aromas of fruit and brioche. It also gives off the fragrance of peach, white flowers (hawthorn, acacia) and vanilla pod. The entry onto the palate is lively, fresh and in total harmony. This is a delicate wine with flavours of fresh fruit and honey. Taittinger Brut Réserve, which acquires its maturity during three and four years ageing in the cellar, offers excellent aromatic potential.

Ancient history of this Maison that dates back to the last count of Champagne, Thibaud IV, owner of the abbey of Saint-Nicaise, who brought back from a crusade a Chardonnay vine. In 1934 Pierre-Charles Taittinger acquired the castle of La Marquetterie, for years a symbol of French luxury and still this brand (one of the few who bear the name of their owners) managed by the heir Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger, is associated to the success of the spread Champagne in the world. A blend of the historical vines of this land, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunieur from more than 35 crus; Chardonnay undergoes a maturing in the cellar for at least 3 years before being assembled with the other wines, for a result of finesse and elegance acclaimed worldwide. The company itself defines this sans année a tremendous accomplishment, the pride of the house. Brilliant light gold color, from fine and persistent perlage. The nose opens on net brioche aromas and custard, citrus and acacia flowers. The taste is fresh and fragrant, with delicate minerality and lingering body. Perfect at any time, for an aperitif, with dishes made with fish or fried vegetables, but simply fantastic with cubes of Parmigiano Reggiano. Brut Prestige is aged in the cellar for three or four years to reach perfect maturity and develop a great aromatic expression. Magnum format in elegant packaging luxury, beautiful even as a gift, as well as exquisite.
