TASTING NOTES:

Barone Ricasoli

Barone Ricasoli winery is considered the world's oldest, founded in 1141 by the Ricasoli family. The Chianti Classico Colledilà Barone Ricasoli was born in vineyards located in the homonymous land in Gaiole in Chianti, in the Chianti Classico area. It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese, fermented at a controlled temperature of 24 - 27 ° C for 12 - 16 days, with maceration of the skins for 5-9 days. The wine then matures in barrels and barrels before being bottled. The Colledilà stands out for its complex structure and its modern elegance, the result of research carried out by the company over the past 15 years. Sangiovese, capable of enhancing all the qualities of this blend, is a pure and fresh wine, with strong hints of black cherry and black currant aromas and flowers. In the mouth it has cheerful but well-integrated tannins and balanced. The finish is elegant, with a pleasant aftertaste of spicy wood.
