Hennessy V.S. is the world's most popular cognac. The V.S. in the name stands for "Very Special". According to law, only eaux-de-vie that are a minimum of two years old can be used in the blend to make a V.S. cognac. Hennessey V.S. is a modern version of their classic 3-Star Cognac.

Made using Ugni Blanc grapes from the world-famous Cognac region of France, this is a great spirit for everyday drinking. Once the grapes are processed and left to age in French oak barrels for at least two years, a selection of about 40 different eaux-de-vie are blended to create the mouth-watering product that has come to be known around the world as Hennessy V.S. This truly is a very special product for very special moments.

In 1765, an Irish aristocrat named Richard Hennessy founded the House of Hennessy in France. He set up this business in the Cognac region with the plan to export brandy back to his native Ireland and the United Kingdom. A short time later, in 1792, Hennessy began to ship its brandies to the USA. Since then, Hennessy has remained a favourite in the USA, who, from among all of the different countries the brand exports to, is one of the biggest markets for Hennessy worldwide.

Hennessy V.S

- Hennessy V. S. is a blend of the finest cognacs, aged to full maturity in oak barrels in the town of Cognac, where Richard Hennessy established his company in 1765.
- Full bodied with a pronounced aroma of oak and hazelnuts, a rich floral taste with tones of red berries and vanilla.
- Still operated by the Hennessy family, this cognac is aged for at least 2-5 years.
