Say Perrin and you think of the magical Château de Beaucastel and imaginative Châteauneuf-du-Pape, which is highly prized worldwide. The success that the family has today is due largely to the now deceased Jacques Perrin, the third generation, a real 'biodynamist avant la lettre. His philosophy? Good wine make the grape in the best natural conditions are underway to let go. And so, as early as 1964, all chemical fertilizers and herbicides from the vineyard banned. A real Côtes du Rhône! Fruity and fleshy with great tannins make this 'everyday' wine a pleasure to drink. Transparent deep ruby red color. On the nose aromas of red and black currants and lightly some dried mixed herbs. In the palate showing small very ripe red and black fruit with some pepper, followed by a good finish with supple tannins.

The Reserve in 2014 shows lots of fruit, good freshness and character. The Grenache / Syrah duo blends perfectly. Pretty aromas of red and black fruit, good aromatic intensity, the mouth is fresh and generous. The silky tannins accompany a long aromatic finish.

Reviews of other vintages of 2017 Famille Perrin Côtes du Rhône Réserve2015

The Famille Perrin Côtes Du Rhône Reserve is the ideal wine to pair it with wild boar sausages. At a dinner with other couples.
I did not like the colour with these brown edges. However the taste was quite good. Aromas of toffee. Like the fruit flavour.
