2017 100 Hectares Tinta Amarela (Tinta Amarela)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: intense ruby red color.
- Nose: Aromatic notes of red fruits, berries, cherries with a touch vanilla and wood, as well as the presence of spice and floral aromas.
- Mouth: dry fruit flavor that integrates with spices, presence of tannins on the palate and a lingering bitter finish.
APPELLATION: Douro.
VINEYARD: 100 Hectares.
GRAPES: Tinta Amarela.
AGEING: This wine is aged for 6 months in French oak barrels.
PREPARATION: Ink type grapes are pressed Amarela, removing the stem and other components. Then they pass through a fermentation process to open mill and controlled temperatures. Then the product is allowed to stand and introduced into French oak barrels where it is aged for 6 months before bottling.
WINE PAIRING: red to almost caramelized grilled white meats, lamb, black fruit jellies, Portuguese ripe cheese Carnes.
TEMPERATURE: 16-18 °C
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 15.5%
