Description of 2017 Bafarela Grande Reserva
2017 Bafarela Grande Reserva (Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: intense and deep.
- Nose: distinctive aroma, very intense and complex with floral notes.
- Mouth: well-rounded with a precise but seductive quality, with obvious fruit flavors, floral notes. Well structured with dense but fine tannins. With freshness and concentration, a final long, seductive and persistent.
APPELLATION: Douro.
GRAPES: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz.
AGEING: Aged for 12 months in large French oak barrels of 500 liters.
PREPARATION: Total destemming and crushing controlled. Must undergo a maceration of skin in the cold for 48 hours. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature and with moderate maceration extraction continued for over 40 days. The wine was subjected to malolactic fermentation in tanks inoxidablr new steel.
WINE PAIRING: Roasted goat meat, lamb, chicken rice.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16-18 ° C
