TASTING NOTES OF 2015 Grainha Reserva:
- View: red, violet reflections.
- Nose: aromas of ripe red fruit, floral notes and soft toasted.
- Mouth: structured and fatty mouth, complex aromas of berry fruit, flowers and an incredible energy and pleasant. Largoe end of intense aftertaste.

APPELLATION: Douro.
VINES: Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo
GRAPES: Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cão.

AGEING: 15 months in French oak vats mostly American and Hungarian oak.
PREPARATION: fermentation in stainless of 8 days with temperature control.

PAIRING: Red meats, roast beef and grilled meat.
TEMPERATURE: 16-18 °C
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14.5%

A Tinto Cão with a nice colour. A noticeable berry smell. Stays a short time in the mouth.
This wine wasn't good enough for our dinner.
