2017 Piano Reserva Branco (Viosinho and Gouveio)

TASTING NOTES:

  • View: Golden yellow.
  • Nose: complex aroma, notes of white fruit, ripe tropical fruit, hints of oak.
  • Mouth: Intense, lots of fruit, toasted wood, very complex, interesting, long finish and elegant.

APPELLATION: Douro.

GRAPES: Gouveio, Viosinho, Codega do Larinho.

AGEING: aged for 9 months in new French oak barrels of 500 liters, with batonnage later refinement in the bottle for 6 months.

PREPARATION: fermentation in stainless steel tanks.

PAIRING: seafood, appetizers, snacks, marinated meat, fresh grilled white meat, white fish, cheese, rice with seafood and fish as an appetizer.

TEMPERATURE: 10-12 °C

ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13.5%

Piano Reserva Branco 2017

Aroma complex where notes of white fruits combine with the tropical fruit very ripe, well married with the notes of the barrel, in the mouth is intense with still a lot of fruit of mouth and the wooden toast giving you the complexity that makes the whole so interesting, ends long and elegant.
