Beefeater

Beefeater is a brand of English gin produced by James Burrough Ltd and distributed by the French company Pernod Ricard. It is one of the last gin still produced in the city of London. The distillery's headquarters is located at 20 Montford Place, in the Kennington district, and covers about 9,000 square metres between offices, warehouses and production sites. The distillery houses five Carter-Head bronze stills, still used today in the production of gin.

Beefeater is the last of the traditional London Gin Distilleries. It was established in circa 1876 by James Burrough initially producing many different brands of gin, including Beefeater, named after the Beefeaters at the Tower of London. It was instantly successful and became the distillery's flagship brand.
