Ginraw is a product produced by a perfumer, a chef, a sommelier, and a bartender. The creators of this product are all masters of their craft and all are from Barcelona as well. The men behind the idea, Roger Burgués and Luis Jáuregui, who recruited the talented group of producers to make a new gin in homage to the city of Barcelona.

With only 5000 bottles of this gin created in each batch, Ginraw is definitely made with care. Juniper berries are distilled in a copper still to create the base on which this masterful gin is made. Lemon peel from Murcia, cedrat peel from Valencia, Spanish laurel, Thai kaffir lime leaves, Egyptian coriander seeds, and Indian black cardamom are each distilled separately at a low-temperature to retain their freshness and aromatic nature. These are blended together to make the beautiful product known as Ginraw.

The oversize cap on the individually numbered bottles is made out of sustainable ash wood. This is a juniper-led gin with lovely levels of citrus being held up in the background by the remaining botanicals. The more traditional gin botanicals in this product are wonderfully matched to the more exotic ingredients. Dry and clean on the tongue, this gin is unique and magical, like the city which inspired its creation.

After dining at one of the best restaurants in the world, two entrepreneurs and friends digested the evening enjoying a Gin & Tonic when asked why there was no gin according to the gastronomic level of Barcelona.

Ginraw is a gin with real Spanish soul. Bringing together Barcelona's best creatives - a maître parfumeur, mixologist, sommelier and pastry chef - the founding duo drew on the team's knowledge to create a gin that truly embodied the spirit of a city. On the nose, Ginraw's juniper is pleasingly immediate, with crisp citrus and floral notes from the kaffir lime and bay leaves. On the palate, spice and subtle smoky notes (black cardamom) come through with more citrus depth and a long, delicious finish. A really quite special gin, experiment with garnishes - herb and peels will transform a Ginraw gin and tonic.

Ginraw is a Premium Gin 42, 3rd manufactured in Spain.

This gin is made by a combination of botanical Mediterranean as cutting, such as lemon, cedar and laurel, and cut exotic, such as kaffir lime leaves, black cardamom or coriander seeds, with the indispensable juniper. Distillation is made of a double form, becoming one hand the juniper by the traditional method in copper stills and botanists through a system of low temperature distillation used in gastronomy. The Ginraw gin ends up with unique aroma and flavor, offering a delicate aromatic intensity nose with fresh and soft citrus and floral notes complemented by a restrained and elegant in the mouth, full-bodied, velvety feel, a spicy freshness and balanced point .

gintoniQ recommends combining the Geneva Ginraw with Fever Tree tonic, lime peel and ice. Now it enjoy gin and tonic!
