PRODUCTION DETAILS: This grappa spirit is fabricated from the solid parts of the grapes, better known as the marc, specifically of the Picolit grape variety, cultivated and harvested in the hills of Friuli, North of COUNTRY: Italy. The marc is collected and fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature in an artificial vacuum. The product is then distilled in a discontinuous process with head and tail cutting, using copper steam stills, and finally allowed to mature in stainless steel tanks for a period of six months to a year before being bottled and commercialized. The end result is a harmonious and constant spirit, excellent as a digestive after a main meal. For a more pleasant experience, better serve at a temperature of 12°C in an open tulip glass. As an additional tip, let the grappa breathe after pouring it into the glass, as the contact with the atmosphere enhances the harmony between the nose and palate, and the flavours and aromas intensify.
