Reviews about Feudi di San Gregorio Greco di Tufo 2016

Excellent fresh Greco di Tufo which goes with any food or as aperitif - deducted half point only as some previous years have been even better

A bottle of this white for two, solo.
I don't know if there are problems with the 2016 vintage, but I thought the colour was a straw-yellow. Noticeable in this Campania lemon and grape fruit aromas. Very light and pleasant wine in the mouth.
Good wine for a good seafood.

- View: Clear pale yellow
- Nose: A fabulously fresh scent of citrusy lemon, accompanied by peach and floral accents
- Mouth: This refreshing wine has a flowery, mineral flavour beautifully balanced green apple notes and gentle acidity. The palate is light with a relatively thin mouthfeel and short finish.

APPELLATION: Greco di Tufo
VINEYARD: This Italian variety of Greco grapes were grown in Campania's Irpinia region in southern Italy. The vineyard is 425-700 meters above sea level and provides deep, finely-textured, moderately chalky, and very calcareous soils.
GRAPES: Greco di Tufo

AGEING: After fermentation, the wine sits for three months in stainless steel tanks on the lees, and is then aged an additional month in bottle before release
PREPARATION: Feudi di San Gregorio aligns itself with the oenological renaissance of southern Italy, combining new research on winemaking with time-honoured traditions. Every step of the process has been carefully considered. The grapes are harvested in early to mid-October for perfect ripeness. Immediately following harvest, grapes are destemmed and then undergo a gentle press followed by cold settling for 24 to 48 hours at 14ºC.

PAIRING: The tropical flavour of this wine pairs well with poultry as well as fish, sushi, and other seafood
ALCOHOL: 12.5%
