Elaboration of 2010 Casa Castillo Pie Franco

2010 Casa Castillo Pie Franco (Monastrell)

"La Casa Castillo is the largest wine producer in South Eastern Spain, and Monastrell Pie Franco, pure and honest, is one of the best Spanish wines. Pie Franco 2010 was aged for 18 months and bottled in February 2012. It shows dense, meaty, spicy and needs to be opened before tasting to enjoy optimum ventilation. It develops slowly and could be the successor to the 2006, with a texture of fine tannins, notes of herbs méditerranénnes and a long finish. Drink from 2014 to 2020 "Luis Gutiérrez, Wine Advocate Robert Parker: 95 points
