Elaboration of 2004 Alter Ego de Palmer
2004 Alter Ego de Palmer (Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot)
TASTING NOTES OF 2004 Alter Ego de Palmer:
- View: Bright, deep ruby color.
- Nose: Wasting no time, operates a bouquet of black fruits (blackcurrants, blackberries and plums), mint, cardamom, vanilla, musk, smoke and moss. After aeration licorice notes appear.
- Mouth: opens with a fresh, ripe fruitiness and, instantly, is accompanied by freshness. The elegant tannins impose a solid base and gently soften the fruit. All quickly it comes together to make an admirable harmony. With great pleasure the wine continues its soft and serene progression for a long, delicious finish.
Here, the terroir of Margaux is exemplary and promises to remain so for long. This wine should be at its peak between 2009 and 2020.
How to serve
A grand cru is a matter of origin in time as in space. The Château Palmer style is embedded in history and dedicated to the expression of its terroir. It is a style beyond fashion and trends. To experience its timelessness, there is no better way than to taste it. Again and again.More about the Winery
