Château Labegorce 2016

2016 - Non contractual picture. Château Labegorce 2016 is a blend of 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot 52%, 6% and 4% Cabernet Franc Petit Verdot collected between 4 and October 21, and raised in 45% of new oak barrels. What I like about her bouquet is that it is the epitome of Margaux. It might not come from elsewhere. Violets infuse crushed black cherries, blueberries and iodine. The palate is medium-bodied with soft tannins, a very well judged acidity, elegant Margaux and charming with a pencil line and a touch of spice on its long finish. What brilliant a domain Margaux wine that really muscled his game "(Robert Parker) Domaine Château Labégorce. The castle of origin of the property sits on gravelly land and on the highest ridges of the appellation prestigious Margaux. It is surrounded by the finest wines of the appellation. the first traces back to the 14th century mention the existence of the noble House La Bégorce. Gorsse past several families (or Gorce) resided in the Medoc. their name comes from formerly Guyana. Indeed, it is the abbot Gorse who gave his name to the property.

Château Labegorce 2016

Toasty and tobacco aromas. Toffee and coffee flavours.
A red Margaux quite recommendable.

My friend gave me this gift and it was quite an idea.
A wine with a high layer and a nice cherry colour. The Château Labégorce exudes aromas of violets. A slightly bitter end.

With my friends we always order Château Labégorce Château Labegorce.
Nice colour. This wine discloses a great flower smell. Quite powerful flavour.
Good wine to drink between hours.

Cherry, middle layer. Sensual aromas of cherries. It is either the 2014 taste, or it just tasted spoiled to me.
It is so good that it is best taken alone.
Perfect wine to share with friends.
