1966 Château Rauzan Segla (Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot)

TASTING NOTES OF 1966 Château Rauzan Segla:

  • View: Deep cherry cherry with scarlet trim, some orange glow. Sparkly.
  • Nose: Intense and frank aroma, dominated by notes of his upbringing. The minerality to granite, the fruit appears to us as blackberry, hints in the aroma of grape skin.
  • Mouth: Good body, well structured, soft but well-marked and well assembled, round tannins. It appears underbrush, timber, vegetables ... wine with character, power and finesse.

Colour of glacé cherry. Characteristic nuts notes. It has a slightly salty final.
It wasn't well paired with food, but the wine was good and tasty.
A special red wine for someone just as special .

Rauzan Ségla Margaux 2016
I drank it with a connoisseur of wines.
The colour was rather dark red. Smells of wood. Woody flavours.
A red that pairs well with moussaka.
