The Winery

Château Siran

In the 19th century, on 14 January 1859 to be precise, the château became the property of the Miailhe family. Their ancestor, Leo Barbier, bought the estate for 100,000 francs from the Count and Countess of Toulouse-Lautrec, the grandparents of the famous painter of Parisnightlife Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. Thus, it was 4 years after the world-renown 1855 Classification that the estate passed into the ownership of a family of wine professionals.

A rich wine, dense and delicate wall Nose A very nice long finish lining the palate of red fruit and jammy black and dressing a tannic structure still somewhat austere but do ask that blend a triumph!

A bottle of this red for two, solo.
A beautiful vivid colour. Coffee aromas. It tasted like licorice.
The Château Siran was far better than the food.

It can be found in some gourmet shop.
Beautiful cherry colour. Aromas of toffee. This Château Siran is a wine with good acidity.
