2007 Pavillon Rouge Du Château Margaux (Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Ermitage, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Syrah)
Pavillon Rouge Margaux (Margaux) 2007 (58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot)
- Nose: l is a beautiful and elegant pure aromatic character here, and standing. Beautiful flesh at the door, soft tannins that are well covered, and fresh acids.
- Palate: Good balance and freshness, but there are some things here too. Meaty, with a grip on arrival. Just a little touch of green pepper. Nice.
How to serve
It is difficult to sum up in a few lines the long and splendid history of the estate. It could perhaps be entitled 'There was once an estate called Château Margaux'.More about the Winery
