2012 Framingham Sauvignon Blanc review
Framingham (Marlborough)
Framingham Sauvignon Blanc 2012
- 11/06/18 |
- 4 /
TASTING NOTES:
- View: 2012 Framingham Estate S.Blanc is straw yellow with green tones
- Nose: fragrant aromatics reminiscent of grapefruit, bitter lemon, gooseberry, guava, nettles and sweet herbs.
Smoky and stony mineral notes add complexity and interest.
- Mouth: Full and complex range of flavors to herbal notes of ripe tropical fruit salad with spicy grapefruit, gooseberry sour lemon, nectarine and hints of tomato leaves. Mouthfeel is complemented with a good weight, and is enriched with components of cannon, which added creaminess. The acidity is fresh and juicy, but by no means sour, and helps promote a final, mineral, dry and flint.
GRAPES: Sauvignon Blanc
WINERY: Framingham Wines
ALCOHOL: 13%
