Saint Clair Wairau Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2011

Pale gold with green hues. In potent spicy nose with intense aromas of currants, passion fruit and grapefruit. The palate is complex and rich, balanced acidity, passion fruit, blackcurrant and grapefruit. A mineral component adds some complexity and depth for a long and persistent end.

An elegant Marlborough but with a very deep dense colour. Perfume of white flowers: jasmine, lilies ....It is slightly acidic, with a little bitter touch at the end.
Very good with marinated sardines.
I drank it with my best friend.

Saint Clair Estate Wairau Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2015
It has a very nice colour. Good on nose with a predominance of jasmine. Taste of blackberries and wild fruits.
We consumed it with paste à la marinière.
The best  to enjoy with friends.

To me, this 2015 seemed more yellow than other vintages. On the nose daffodil is especially noted on this Saint Clair Wairau Reserve Sauvignon Blanc. A wine with presence.
Perfect with fromage.
My best friend had tried it and she recommended it to me.
