D'Arenberg The Vintage Fortified Shiraz 2006

Red colour followed by reddish brown. Delicious aromas of licorice and mint. It would have been better if it had been cooler than it was. Our fault.
Highly recommend to drink it with friends at a barbecue.
We tested this D'Arenberg with my club mates.

A tribute to old times: Early Portuguese Port wine from Shiraz grapes was made. At these beginnings recalls this Australian dessert wine from Australia, Vintage Fortified Shiraz is the style modeled on European models. Totally rocks! Intense violet-red, strongly spicy Shirazbeerenaroma, further tobacco, wood, chocolate and spices. Very fruity in the middle, elegant and astringent aftertaste.
