Château Haut-Condissas 2011

Jean Guyon confirms its ambition to create only exceptional vintages. The color is a dark purplish red of irresistible brilliance. The nose discovers cherry, berries, and a thin leather frame. This wine exudes freshness and purity demonstrates the intense fruit. The style is opulent, one can not resist his soft encompassing Palace racy tannins. This fullness extends mouth brilliantly.
After hand picking, which took place from 26 September to 6 October, the grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled vats truncated. Following a pre-fermentation cold maceration, it was a long maceration of 6 to 7 weeks, the malolactic fermentation is under wood for the production of wines for aging. Wine is the highest result in barrels on lees for 3 months and with stirring for 24 months to reveal fine tannins.
The vineyards of Château Condissas Top lie on clay and gravel of 12 hectares and its taste properties ridges were found primarily of Merlot (60%), but also a strong presence of Petit Verdot (20%) and Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc both 10% to round this assembly.
The method of cultivation is reasoned, like that which is shared across all Areas Rollan de By. The vineyard is based on a size cord and size 2 baguettes with windows, resawing, thinning, suckering and green harvesting for better sorting of fruits, treatments and reasoned amendments, the soil is worked and grassed .

"Always among the best wines of the Médoc. It competes easily the classified growths, even the most prestigious, even if sold at a fraction of the price of those." Robert Parker

I went to Medoc to buy it.
Colour of glacé cherry. Smells like cedar wood or pine tree. This Château Haut-Condissas seemed fairly fresh.

Its intense colour attracted me. Aromas of dried fruits. I noticed a licorice flavour.
I do not recommend taking this red of Château Haut Condissas with meat.
We drank a pair of bottles of Château Haut-Condissas 2014 with my friend.

Slight red cherry tones . This red wine has a chestnut background. A nice woody flavour.
It would go perfect with blue fish.
I bought it at the behest of a friend.
