Reviews of 2009 Catena Zapata Catena Alta Malbec
A wine with a high layer and a nice cherry colour. The smell of this Catena Zapata Catena Alta Malbec reminds me somehow a menthol candy. It has a balanced acidity.
The colour was rather dark red. This wine from Bodega Catena Zapata smells like red fruit compote. This Mendoza has a very good acidity.
Pretty cherry colour, medium opacity. Aromas of ripe fruits. Nice, dense and warm in the mouth.
This Catena Zapata Catena Alta Malbec does not need food to accompany.
